These poems were not written from imagination.
They were written from survival.
Every piece shared here holds parts of my story, my pain, my healing, my darkness and the pieces of myself I fought to rebuild.
Some poems were written in moments of heartbreak.
Some during trauma.
Some during healing.
And some during the moments I nearly gave up completely.
My poetry is raw, emotional and deeply personal because healing itself is not polished or perfect.
These words speak about trauma, grief, PTSD, survival, motherhood, abuse, healing, love, loss and learning how to keep breathing after life tried to silence me.
If my words make you feel understood, seen or less alone, then they have already served their purpose.

They talk about trauma like it’s something you “move on from.”
But they don’t talk about the years it steals.
The sleep it takes.
The way safety is erased from ordinary moments.
This is what people rarely see-
that healing isn’t about forgetting.
It’s about rebuilding slowly, carefully,
what was shattered in seconds.
If this poem speaks to you,
please know: you are not weak for still rebuilding.
You are proof that survival didn’t end you,
it changed you.
And that matters.
