• Growing up surrounded by domestic violence
• Childhood sexual abuse
• Being taken advantage of by an adult at 13 years old
• Teen pregnancy
• Sexual assault by a step-parent
• Living through domestic violence relationships
• Gang rape
• Pregnancy resulting from rape
• The loss of a baby
• The fear, silence and shame trauma creates
• Finally finding the courage to leave
• Beginning the long and painful journey of healing

Amanda Kill was not created from perfection.
It was created from surviving the things that were meant to destroy me.

This space exists for honesty.
For healing.
For the people silently carrying darkness they were never supposed to survive alone.
